Cvent Integration with iMIS (REST API)

Some users have received a message from Cvent about their SOAP API being retired on December 31, 2025. The good news is that Cvent has confirmed that the existing API will continue to run for our (iMIS) customers after December 31.  

We are wrapping up the required work on the iMIS-Cvent integration (REST API) and expect to roll this out in the next few weeks.  

Once the new version of the integration is available, some steps will be required to transition to the new REST API.  You will need to obtain a new Client ID, Client Secret, and REST API URL. We will provide full documentation for these steps, and the Cvent Support team is ready to assist you with this part of the process.  

After you have this information from the Cvent team, switching to the REST API takes only a minute in our cloud dashboard.
